Orlando Menthol: Boomberry [RR013]

Orlando Menthol is Simon Kallweit (Sound) and David Kohler (Vocals). Their diverse range of sounds found the way to the so called "Demotape Clinic" at M4Music, a Music festival and market in Zurich, where "Boomberry" won best electronic and best overall track in 2005. It is an original piece of of electronic music complete with analogue bass, hard hitting beats and the vocals of David. Orlando Menthol is also an excellent live act.

On remix duties we are happy to welcome Boogie Army to bring their own special blend of big system breaks to this release. Boogie Army are Captain Coma (Tilman Benecke) and Marten Horger from Germany. For this remix they have teamed up with Illy The Kid, who injected some extra fatness. They have had a string of top releases on Carepack and recent remixes for Muto, Money Shot and Resin. Their gigs around Europe (and Russia!) are legendary and probably only the start of a very promising career!!
