Stookie: Experiments [RR001]

This is the first release from Ritmic Records, a new Swiss label specialising in underground dance music in the fields of breaks, tec house and electro. Behind the label is Bengston, DJ, producer and one of the key players in the Swiss breakbeat scene.

Stookie: Experiments [RR001] Stookie: Experiments (Original) The original is a chilled electro tune by Stookie from Basle/Switzerland. He likes them Waldorf instruments and is actually more into Wave/EBM than breaks. Nonetheless he delivers a nice musical track that clocks at 120 bpm and does the business as a great intro/comedown track.

Stookie: Experiments (Future Funk Squad's "Electro Panic" Remix) None other than Glen "FFS" N has been asked to re-groove this track and he proves why he's heralded as one of the leading UK producers. He strips it down to the basic parts, delivering one of his finest remixes, a dancefloor friendly breaks version that maintains the electro feel of the original. Watch that track go down on your floor and you know why both, Tayo and the Plumps were itching to get their testpressing! DJ Hyper says: "I LOVE the record! Fucking awesome electro vibes! More please!"

Stookie: Experiments (Frank Murl's Tec Re-Dub) The second remix comes from Frank Murl. He takes it all four to the floor, adding an 80's touch to it
