Hot on the heels of Bengston's latest Vinyl outing (Hanzo with a
wicked Kickflip Remix) Ritmic opens the year with another Bengston
tune, this time in digital format only. Mango is a funky little
groover with a positive vibe and flexing baseline sitting on solid
beats. A lush tune and a top tool for the discerning selector.
On the flip we have Crash House Brothers, who won the remix
competition held in late 2006. Crash House Brothers are Denny
(Nexsone) and Christian (Drawat) hailing from Berlin. Their version
had what we were looking for: Funk, dynamism and dancefloor appeal. A
top buildup leads us into a bubbling journey of beats, bass with a
skanky vibe and some additional cuts and effects not to be found in
the original
